Who does Hestia hire to clean my home?
Hestia hires reliable, detail-oriented, and trustworthy cleaning professionals who are trained to follow our cleaning standards and deliver consistent, high-quality service.
Do I need to tip my cleaning technician?
It’s not expected, but it is greatly appreciated for work well done. We have found it common for clients to tip at the end of each cleaning or make a larger tip at the end of the year. Please make sure money left as a tip is marked as such. Tips may also be added to your credit card payment. Please note that 100% of the tips go directly to the cleaning technicians performing the job.
What if my cleaning falls on a holiday?
If your cleaning appointment falls on a public holiday, we may contact you in advance to reschedule based on staff availability. Otherwise, services generally continue as scheduled. Please contact us ahead of time if you need to make any changes.
Do I need to be home while my house is being cleaned?
No, you do not need to be home during your cleaning appointment. You can be present, leave a key, provide access instructions, or use a lockbox—whatever is most convenient for you. We handle property access securely and professionally.
Will I Have the Same Cleaning Professional Each Visit?
We aim to send the same cleaning professional for recurring visits whenever possible. If a replacement is needed, they will follow your preferences and cleaning instructions to ensure consistent, high-quality service.
How do I pay for my cleaning service?
Payment is made after the cleaning is completed. You can pay by card, bank transfer, or other approved methods, and any card on file is charged only after service completion.
